Anti Social Behaviour, Freckleton Memorial Park


Good afternoon

 

There has been an incident reported of Fly tipping on the Memorial Park at Freckleton on the 17th or 18th November.

 

Fly tipping is anti social behaviour. It causes annoyance to members of the public who respect their local area and enjoy it responsibly. Potentially the effects of fly tipping could be harmful to people, animals or the environment.

 

There is also a cost to Fylde Borough Council who are responsible for cleaning this rubbish up, diverting the money from more essential uses.

 

If anyone witnessed this fly tipping of mainly clothing between 12:00 hours on 17th November and 15:00 hours on the 18th November, please contact either Fylde Borough Council or Kirkham Neighbourhood Policing team quoting log number 0921 of the 18th November.

 

There is CCTV covering this area which has been provided to Police who are currently conducting enquiries to identify the offender.

 

Convicted parties can be fined an unlimited amount and in persistent or serious cases lead to imprisonment.
