Your Local Policing team keeping you in the loop with some crime prevention advice, I appreciate this might be a long message but please do give it a read as there is information within this message that could be of use to you. 

I would like to specifically highlight four key points of information which I believe could really make a difference in our community, these are on Vehicle Crime such as theft from/of Motor Vehicle(s), Burglary prevention advice, Theft from person advice, and registering your property should it be lost or stolen.  

Updates - 

Moss Side Incident - 

Currently there is an increased police presence in and around the Moss Side area this is in response to an incident that occurred in Moss Side on 17/11/2024 this is an ongoing investigation which means we are not at liberty to provide further information at this time. Greater Manchester Police have posted a statement in relation to this incident which was sent out previously.

However, what we can say is that it is being treated as an isolated incident, and it is being investigated by specialist officers and detectives. 

If anyone has any information that could assist officers as they make enquiries should contact us on 101 quoting 553 of 17/11/24. Information can be shared anonymously via the independent charity - Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
