With Christmas fast approaching E-scooters may be on a lot of Christmas lists however do you know laws behind owning an E-scooter?

As part of ASB awareness week, Rugby Safer Neighbourhood Team have had a great morning with Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership to promote our E-scooter initiative, by educating the wider community around the use of E-scooters.  

We have spoken to numerous members of the public to spread awareness surrounding the use of E-scooters:

3 riders were provided with education on the law & road safety.

1 rider failed to stop, who police look to identify and prosecute.

1 wanted male has been arrested.
