Neighbourhood officers on routine patrol of the Moss Side area were alerted to a suspicious vehicle by a vigilant member of the public.

On further inspection, the car was found to be on false plates and was actually stolen from the Stockport area in September this year.

Thanks to the diligence of the public this vehicle has now been recovered and is on its way for a full forensic examination before it will be returned to the owner.
