Winter Driving Reminder

As icy conditions set in, ensure your safety and that of others:

Clear all windows and mirrors: Fully scrape off ice and demist for maximum visibility. Don’t rely on a small cleared patch.

Drive slowly and smoothly: Reduce speed and avoid sudden movements to maintain control.

Leave extra space: Increase your following distance to account for longer stopping times on slippery roads.

Stay alert: Be prepared for black ice, especially on bridges, shaded areas, and early mornings.

Taking a few extra minutes to prepare your car can make all the difference.
