Dear Kitty
Welcome to your new role as an Area Coordinator in your area and we are delighted to introduce to you our new Area Coordinator Guide, which has been designed just for you.
I realise you may not have had this information pack before, but I hope it helps you in your important role.
The guide aims to provide you with: · An explanation of the role of an Area Coordinator · Helpful tips · Links to various parts of the website to help you · Introduction to the tools available to you in our Members Area · How to help your Coordinator know what tools are available and how to use them · What support there is for you as Area Coordinator · Getting connected on the Knowledge Hub
Over the past year we have developed the new Member Pack, the new Coordinator Pack and now the ne Area Coordinator Pack. This is part of our commitment to support you in your volunteering role with us. You are important volunteers, helping build and strengthen the foundations of Neighbourhood Watch at a hyper-local level and for that we thank you.
We are also developing the Knowledge Hub with your very own section. If you are registered on there, please can you contact enquiries@ourwatch.org.uk to ask them to add your role of Area Coordinator to it so you can access the new pages. We would also like to hear from you if you would like to collaborate with us on developing this section going forward.
We hope that you find the guide useful and are encouraged by the additional resources that we are developing for you. In 2024 we are also holding special webinars for you specifically for your role as Area Coordinator and we hope to welcome you all there.
Thank you once again for the time and commitment that you provide to other volunteers in the network.
Best wishes from
James Phillips MSA Lead, Waltham Forest Neighbourhood Watch
