Priority 1—Nuisance Motorbikes The beat team continues to patrol the hot spot areas on the beat. Please report to 101 or online any motorbikes being driven in a way to cause alarm or distress or any off-road bikes being driven. Priority 2—Retail Crime, store thefts The beat team continue to work with the local supermarkets to deter thefts by Hi-visibility patrols and holding beat surgeries. CCTV for any thefts and statements are also being collected. Priority 3—Road Safety Results from the safety camera speed enforcement vehicle for October 24 are: A512 Ashby Road—20 speeding offences reported. A6 Derby Road—19 speeding offences reported. Hathern Road, Shepshed—5 speeding offences reported. Good News: A local male has been charged with criminal damage to a pub window in Shepshed. A drugs warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act was executed recently in a flat in Shepshed with one male arrested for possession with the intent to supply class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. The case has been sent to the CPS for a charging decision. |
