Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team along with Community Protection Officers from Ashfield District Council will be at at Huthwaite Library, Sutton Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield NG172NG, on the 23rd November 10:30am until 12:00pm.

At 5.23am on Monday 18 November in Lammas Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report that the Leisure Centre had been broken into via a fire door and the alarm tampered with. A Guide Dog charity box was stolen from the main entrance area.

Theft of motor vehicle

Between 6.00pm on Monday 18 and 7.00am on Tuesday 19 November in Reform Street, Sutton in Ashfield, the lock was removed from the gate to the Telecom Base Station to gain entry. An Openreach branded white Iveco van was stolen.

Between 8.00pm Thursday14 and 11.00am on Friday 15 November at Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a purse, containing cash and a bank card, was stolen from a bag on the back of a trolley in the A & E department.

Criminal Damage

Between 4.00pm on Wednesday 13 and 8.10am on Thursday 14 November in Lammas Road, Sutton in Ashfield, the headstone on a grave was vandalised.

Around 2.25am on Sunday 17 November in Chatsworth Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a stone thrown at a window smashed the glass, with shards landing on the floor and a bed.

At 5.08am on Monday 18 November in Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield, the glass panel in the door to the Imperial Cancer Research Shop was smashed but remained in place.

ASB

At 2.34pm on Monday 18 November in Charnwood Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of around 5 males and a female drinking on the recreation ground. They had a Staff/Pit Bull or cross breed dog which was not on a lead and not really under control. The caller was concerned for the safety of people walking in the park. The males were mostly dressed in black, one wearing a balaclava. The female had blond hair, wearing a black coat and grey tracksuit bottoms.

At 12.08pm on Tuesday 19 November in Fonton Hall Drive, Sutton in Ashfield, an ongoing issue with youngsters banging on the back gate to a property which boarders on a bridle path and playing fields. Today two white males, approximately 14 years old, wearing black beanie hats, were banging on the gate and throwing snowballs at the house. One had dark hair, wearing a black coat and grey trousers. The second wearing a black jacket and trousers.
