Crime Report Hucknall for the week to midnight Wednesday 20 November 2024


Officers from the Hucknall Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates.

Morrisons Daily, Portland Road, Hucknall, on 09/12/2024 at 1900.

Tesco Express on Annesley Road on the 18/12/24 at 1400 hours. 

Co-op at Emperors Way, Hucknall on 18/12/2024 at 19:00.

29 November 2024 12:00 – 14:00. High Street, Hucknall, NG15 7AX 

Ashfield District Council, Police and partners will be present at the event to speak with members of the public and offer relevant suitable personal safety advice.

At some time in the day, before 4.34pm, on Monday 18 November in Ashgate Road, Hucknall, an elderly lady shopping in the Tesco Store had her handbag, which was hooked on the back of her shopping trolley, stolen. It was a round black handbag with a shoulder strap and contained her phone and a purse containing her bank cards. 

Between 0.01am and 10.50am Wednesday 20 November in Fox Meadow, Hucknall, a large heavy water feature was stolen from a front garden. The feature was dismantled around 2.00am and at 4.32am a black Mitsubishi car with two occupants arrived and the feature was loaded and driven away.

Criminal Damage

At 11.20am on Saturday 16 November in Abbots Road, Hucknall, a caller reporting intruders on the allotments with lots of banging and shouting and a strong possibility that vandalism was taking place. 

At 1.00am on Monday 18 November in Green Close, Hucknall, a tin of white gloss paint was thrown over plants, the back path, and into the doorway of a property. 

At 11.26am on Tuesday 19 November in Cedar Grove, Hucknall, a report that at some time over the past week the outer glass to an upstairs window, which faces onto an alleyway, had been damaged.

At 11.13am on Friday 15 November in Autumn Court, Truman Drive, Hucknall, a report that local youngsters are kicking and damaging fence panels to the communal car parking area.

At 12.52pm on Friday 15 November in the alleyway leading from Allen Street to George Street/St Marys Way a report that on most days people gather in the alleyway to take drugs, discarding needles. They also use the alleyway to urinate and defecate. 

At 7.11pm on Friday 15 November in Broom Hill Park, Hucknall, a report of drug users and dealers using bushes behind the houses and near the children‘s play area. Making children feel unsafe to play in the park or walk through it on their own.

At 5.59pm on Monday 18 November in Chapel Street, High Street, Hucknall, a group of around 15 males on bikes were preventing the staff at B & M Retail closing up the shop by kicking at the fire doors and the gates.
