A 31-year-old man from Christchurch has pleaded guilty to theft, criminal damage and fraud by false representation.

Richard Albert Wrate faced the charges against him when he appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday (18 November).

It follows incidents in New Milton on Monday 15 January.

Wrate will be sentenced when he appears at Southampton Crown Court on Monday 16 December.

He will also be sentenced on the same day for four other offences, for which he has also already pleaded guilty.

These are theft, assault by beating of an emergency worker and two shopliftings, all of which occurred in January this year.
