Witnesses sought following aggravated burglary in Borehamwood


Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a report of an aggravated burglary in Borehamwood in the early hours of this morning (Thursday 21 November). 

It is believed three men, armed with weapons, went to an address in Howard Drive just after 2.20am today. 

The victim ran towards an alleyway near Tempsford Avenue, where it is believed he sustained a serious injury to his hand.

House to house, CCTV, doorbell and dash cam enquiries were carried out by uniformed officers to try and identify the three suspects, with officers remaining in the area this morning. 

Detective Sergeant Yaser Khan from the Borehamwood Local Crime Unit. “We believe this may be a targeted incident and are appealing for further witnesses or anyone with any information about what happened to please get in touch.

“I’d encourage anyone to come and speak to officers in the area with any concerns.
