It is with great sadness that I have to report that two dwellings were broken into in the early hours of Saturday morning in Kingston Road, Shalbourne.
A BMW X5 was stolen from one property and keys were taken to another two vehicles. It is clear that vehicles were the main target of both these burglaries.
May I remind residents to be on their guard for any suspicious activity in our area and to report this immediately to us using the 101 system or 999 in an emergency.
I am acutely aware that this may come as a shock to residents but can reassure you that we will use every tool at our disposal to try and bring those responsible to justice.
The link below will take you to the Wiltshire Police website which has some advice how to keep your property safe.

Another way to protect vehicles is to use physical locks on the pedals or steering wheels. This takes thieves time to remove and requires tools which generate a lot of noise.
I am happy for residents to contact be should they wish to discuss any concerns that they have or to give any crime prevention advice that they require. This can be done via email to: DevizesAreaNPT@wiltshire.police.uk | ||||
