We have been working with partners and have joined with CSP for ASB awareness week where the focus was on trying to gain further intelligence around the use of off road bikes and where they may be coming from.

We have completed lots of stop searches in relation to the use of NOS/ cannabis, we have diverted several people to our drug intervention programme in an effort to change the direction they are heading in.

We have attended local junior schools where we have presented to year 6 the dangers of knife crime and then in another school to reception class about people who are their to help them. Both of these inputs are extremely valuable.

We have been conducting more patrols in the local area including knife sweeps and issuing tickets out to offending vehicles and we have seized a number of vehicles this week for various offences.

There is an increase in Theft from Motor vehicles, should you see anything suspicious then please call 101/999 and report it.

The run up to Christmas is likely to see an increase in theft offences both from shops but also from the person including around cash points. Please be vigilant and report anything suspicious to 999/101 we will be endeavouring to increase our visibility however there a number of other operations across the LPA that we are required to be part of, if you see us abut please say hello.
