Signposting- The Community Cupboard, Swanley

Good afternoon Resident,

I'd like to draw your attention to the new opening of THE COMMUNITY CUPBOARD which is based on ST MARYS ROAD, SWANLEY, BR8 7BU. I am the beat officer over in West Kingsdown which is the home of another branch. This is an independent Food Bank which is funded in many different ways including help from residents within the community. The Cupboard DOES NOT require the usual referrals that other services may have and does some incredible work within the communities. As the new branch opens it would be great if the residents of Swanley were able to spread the news and signpost family, friends, neighbours that you think may benefit from some support especially going into the winter months. Down below I will leave the information on how to get in contact.

Here are some ways you can make a difference:

  • Donate: Monetary donations allow The Community Cupboard to purchase essential food items and support their ongoing operational costs.

  • Organize a Food Drive: Gather your community, colleagues, or friends and organize a food drive. This is a fantastic way to raise awareness and contribute essential supplies.

  • Spread the Word: The power of community outreach is undeniable. Share information about The Community Cupboard with your network, helping to connect those in need with the resources they deserve.

  •

    Kind Regards,
