SNT led operation Op Coalway - Burglary/auto crime dedicated patrols has been underway. Utilising our ANPR and pursuit vehicles SNT officers, Force Proactive Team, Roads Policing Unit and burglary/auto crime unit (NACT) have been working together to complete additional dedicated patrols. The units have been working through the night to target offenders responsible for burglary/theft of vehicle and theft from motor vehicles offences across South Derbyshire and have been reacting to all suspicious activity reported and found utilising the ANPR network across South Derbyshire but also neighbouring forces to track local targets along with those who enter our county and offend. We cannot publish all results due to ongoing investigations and continued targeted policing on certain offenders, however we will highlight some of the work undertaken. Watch this space  |
