Road safety concerns, in particular speeding, are consistently raised by our local communities.

Today we have been out enforcing at Windermere Drive and detected the average speed was 24 mph. 3 Drivers given words of advice due to speed and one advised to remove tint from their vehicle. 

Speeding can have a devastating impact on the safety of road users, increasing the risk of a collision and the severity of the consequences. If prosecuted for speeding, the minimum penalty is a £100 fine and 3 penalty points.

Enforcing the speed limit is a 24/7 activity for us so don’t risk it.
