White Ribbon Day

As part of White Ribbon Day, officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team attended an event organised by Rural Action Derbyshire in Matlock today with guest speakers Nicolle Ndiweni-Roberts the Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner and Detective Inspector Adam Gascoigne the Domestic Abuse Manager.

The event was about supporting #ItStartsWithMen Campaign.

With partners, work is taking place all year round in Derbyshire to change the narrative through education and root causes to help prevent Violence Against Women and Girls, and to support victims and survivors.
