Good Evening Rutland North Resident,
Hope you managed to enjoy some of the drier, slightly sunnier weather today! If not, the forecast looks promising again for tomorrow.
Just an update from me on my past couple of shifts. I have responded to numerous emergencies, a few of which were…
A monitored intruder alarm at a business premise, it was all in order and a false alarm.
A report of cows in the road, they were moo’ved on… (sorry couldn’t help it).
A report of intruders on site at another business premise, investigation ongoing.
An area search for a missing person – found safe and well.
A report of youths exploring an abandoned building.
A polite notice to parents, please have that constructive educational conversation with your child around what they are getting up to and where they are when they are out. It is not only offences that could be committed, but they are potentially putting themselves in physical danger if the building is unsafe! A lot of these incidents were on the Rutland North Beat, as your local beat officer I try to spend most of my time out and about on the beat so that I can respond quickly to any emergency that comes in.
In between all of this, I have been conducting work on my existing case load, this has included a couple of neighbour disputes that have been dealt with.
I have also had a meeting with the Welfare Officers at Kendrew Barracks, to see what we can do to work together and help one another.
And finally, I have written the Rutland North Monthly Newsletter and 30 day crime report round up for the beat which will be release soon. There is still time for others that you know to receive this in their inbox so please share and encourage people who may be interested to sign up on the link here, http://leicspolice.link/Xrcof.
Some of the roads are starting to improve after the flooding, but please still take care and drive to the conditions as there might still be some mud and leaves left behind where the floods have been, thank you.
I am out and about this evening conducting proactive patrols all over Rutland.
Stay safe and take care.
