Sergeant Atkinson would like to give the community of Bamber Bridge an update in relation to recent ASB as we recognise it is one of your priorities: - 

 We are currently running an operation called Op Centurion and you have will have noticed an increase in officers on foot wearing high visibility uniform.

 We have done numerous stop searches and arrests of various individuals that have been involved in anti-social behaviour, due to their age we cannot disclose names however we can assure you that Youth Cautions have been issued with interventions.

We have also worked alongside Social housing, Council and Youth offending team as it is important to try to get to the root cause of all the ASB and in order to do so we need to do this as a multi-agency approach, quite often support is required for the families and that is something we have in place.

Recently we had a Dispersal Order running in which 9 were handed out to youths causing issues in a big group and we are pleased to say they did not return back to the area in that time frame.

 We have also been seizing bikes and addressing all the ASB in relation to off road bikes.
