Dear Residents and Local Businesses,  

Here is your weekly update from your local neighbourhood Policing Team, to let you know some of what we've been busy dealing with: 

PATROLS 

Officers have been carrying out patrols of the Henley and Longford areas on foot and in vehicles. We have been paying particular attention to locations that have recently experienced an increase in crime and anti-social behaviour. 

ARRESTS

Two people have been arrested by officers from our team this week.

1 for failing to attend Court.

1 for theft.

VEHICLE SEIZURES

Our officers have seized three vehicles this week.

All three were seized for driving without a valid driving licence, which invalidates the vehicle’s insurance. The drivers were also reported to court.

TRADING STANDARDS VISITS

We are working with trading standards department from Coventry City Council to visit certain businesses.

HOUSING

We are continuing to work closely with housing associations such as Citizen and Orbit to keep them informed of any of their tenants who are repeatedly involved in crime and anti-social behaviour, because it is a breach of their tenancy agreement. We are also carrying out joint visits with the housing officers to some addresses.  On some occasions this has resulted in troublesome families being evicted from their home.
