The South Ruislip team have been busy this month maintaining strong focus on their ward priorities for Shoplifting, ASB & Drugs and Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG).

The team have recently assisted Northwood Hills team arrest a prolific shoplifter & Drug user who was wanted for the offence of failing to appear and was located on Eastcote ward through pro-active targeted patrols.

The team continued to carry out further pro-active patrols around superstores and shops on South Ruislip last week to deter shoplifters and individuals involved in ASB and drugs activity. The team came across an individual that was a prolific shoplifter and drug user and wanted on recall to prison. The team quickly and efficiently arrested this individual and dealt with them accordingly.

The team very recently arrested a male who was a suspect for three offences of exposure, two committed in South Ruislip and one in Pinner. The three incidents occurred on separate occasions from the months of September through to late November and the victims who were female were caused alarm and distress by the incidents. The South Ruislip team were able to identify, locate and arrest the male from enquiries carried out. Special thanks to Ruislip Manor and Harefield Village officers for their assistance in the progression of the investigation. The male is currently under investigation. This was a very positive result in assisting in make the community safer and hopefully deterring the male from committing further offences.
