Three men have been arrested and drugs seized after police responded to concerns about alleged cuckooing.

Cuckooing is where criminals groom a vulnerable person in order to take over their home and use it as a base for their activities.

Acting on intelligence, officers from the Watford Operation Scorpion team attended a property in Rosslyn Road, alongside colleagues from the Neighbourhood Policing Team early this morning (Thursday 28 November).

Officers located more than 50 wraps of suspected Class A drugs and scales inside the property.

All three men are in police custody at this time.

Inspector Dan Jones, from the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Cuckooing has serious consequences for victims and the local area surrounding a cuckooed address. If you have any concerns about criminality in your local area, please report it to police. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can report information via the independent charity Crimestoppers.”
