Crime Report Hucknall for the week to midnight Wednesday 27 November 2024


Officers from the Hucknall Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding beat surgeries on the following dates.

Morrisons Daily, Portland Road, Hucknall, on 09/12/2024 at 1900.

Hucknall Leisure Centre, Linby Road, NG15 7TX on 10 December 2024 14:00 – 15:00

Tesco Express on Annesley Road on the 18/12/24 at 1400 hours. 

Co-op at Emperors Way, Hucknall on 18/12/2024 at 19:00.

Community Event (District level) 

29 November 2024 12:00 – 14:00. High Street, Hucknall, NG15 7AX 

Ashfield District Council, Police and partners will be present at the event to speak with members of the public and offer relevant suitable personal safety advice. 


Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling

At 6.50pm on Sunday 24 November in Laughton Crescent, Hucknall, a friend visiting a property on behalf of the tenant arrived to find the front door open, bottles and cigarettes all over the floor and the television on. The front door key, which had been left on the inside of the locked door, had been stolen.

Between 4.30pm on Sunday 24 and 8.10am on Monday 25 November in Blenheim Park Road, Hucknall, an attempt had been made to gain entry to Unit 4F via a window. No entry was gained.

Between 8.30pm on Wednesday 20 and 6.45am on Thursday 21 November in Jenny Burton Way, Hucknall, the drivers side window of a white Volkswagen Polo 3 door saloon, parked at the roadside, was smashed and a £5.00 note was stolen.

Theft

Between 5.40pm and 7.05pm on Monday 25 November in Ogle Street, Hucknall, an adult mountain bike, white with a red stripe and full suspension, was stolen from outside the John Godber Centre. It had been chained to the railings behind the bins.

Around 8.00pm on Tuesday 26 November in Annesley Road, Hucknall, an attempt was made to steal a white, Husky cross, dog by a young male around 17 years old. He took hold of the dogs lead but it bared it’s teeth and refused to move.

Robbery

Around 8.30pm on Friday 22 November a young man withdrew cash from the ATM at the Co-op in Watnall Road, Hucknall. As he walked along Windmill Avenue, near the junction with Windmill Grove, he was attacked from behind, grabbed around the chest and kneed in the back causing him to fall. His attacker made threats before stealing the money, a Motorola E30 mobile phone and his black Zavetti Canada coat. His attacker was a white male, mid to late 20’s, dirty ginger beard, wearing a black Tommy Hilfiger puffer coat, black tracksuit bottoms and a balaclava.

Criminal Damage

Between 5.00pm on Friday 22 and 5.30am on Saturday 23 November in Beardall Street, Hucknall, the passenger side tyre on a blue Ford Focus car was slashed.

At 7.10am on Saturday 23 November in Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a the driver was sat in a red Ford Ka in the NET car park when there was a bang at the back. The driver got out to inspect the back of the car and on opening the boot the rear window shattered. 

Between midday on Saturday 23 and midday on Sunday 24 November in Montague Road, Hucknall, the rear passenger side tyre on a grey Mini Cooper Sport car was slashed.

Between 9.00am tuesday26 and 11.00am on Wednesday 27 November in Red Kite Close, Hucknall, the paintwork of a black Fiat three door saloon car was scratched multiple times.

ASB

At 5.36pm on Sunday 24 November in Kenbrook Road, Hucknall a 14year old girl was playing in the street outside her house with friends. She was approached by a black female, around 40 years old, messy chin length hair, wearing a long patterned cardigan and a shoulder bag, who came right in her face and accused her of throwing eggs, She continued to rant at the girl and her mother who also came out.

At 7.29pm on Tuesday 26 November in Goodall Crescent, Hucknall, a report of four white males, 5-07”/ 6-0”, wearing dark clothing with the hoods up, on the stairs in a block of flats smoking drugs.

At 6.57am on Tuesday 26 November in Farm Avenue, Hucknall, three males, around 20 years old were kicking at a door and throwing bricks at the upstairs window of a property.
