             We have recently had a few burglaries around Rossendale Valley whereby the offenders have been looking to steal high value vehicles.  Their MO is to snap the lock in the door, enter the property and steal the cars keys. In most cases the victim doesn't know anything about this until they wake in the morning. The below pictures are Sash Jammers, they fit on the frame of your door/window and the latch can be pushed down at night time to secure the door/window from the inside. If the lock in the door is snapped, the door will still be secured by the sash jammers, and will prevent entry. They are really cheap to buy, from the internet or DIY store and can be fit by anyone with a bit of DIY knowledge and a screwdriver. They are a really cheap and effective security measure.
