I have just been made aware of a fantastic event, which is being held Monday 9th 10:00 - 16:00 in Denbigh Library. 

It is that time of year where the electric blankets are coming out of the box and on to the beds, keeping you cosy in the colder nights. 
Faulty electric blankets are a common cause of a house fire so it is very important to get them checked. If you use one or know someone who does, it won't take long to get it tested and it is also reassurance to yourself and others who use them regularly. 

Trading standards are hosting an event completely Free to attend, bring your electric blankets along with you including all plugs etc, they will test them for you to make sure they are safe to use within your home. 

If your blanket fails the test they will replace it completely free, (these are subject to availability),
