Police are investigating a report of an assault on a 71 year old woman. 

This incident took place at MARKET CROSS, SELBY at around 1220 hours on Friday 29th December 2024.  

A male, described as white, aged 16-18 years, wearing a Khaki coloured coat, with brown, longish hair, stocky build and wearing trainers has reportedly kicked the victim in the shin.

Police are seeking any CCTV, witnesses or relevant information in relation to this incident.
