Rise in Burglaries during the Christmas Period

There has been a rise in residential and non-residential burglaries on the lead up to the Christmas period. Criminals will target vulnerable properties with an aim to steal presents or high value items to sell. Although we do as much as we can to target these offenders we would like residents to do as much as they can to “target harden” their properties.

Measures such as installing CCTV, motion activated lights, alarm systems and securing doors and windows all go towards deterring criminals from targeting your home.
