Good Afternoon

We are currently investigating a report of Burglary that occurred on Eldon Street, between 2am and 3am on 20/12/2024. 

The offender has approached an insecure front door and entered the property via the door, within the property the offender appears to have been deterred and leaves without taking any items
 

We would be grateful if residents in the Eldon Street area could check any CCTV footage, doorbell cameras, dash cams etc that may have captured footage of anyone behaving suspiciously in the area at this time.

At this time we believe the suspect to be dressed all in dark clothing. 

In the event you find any footage that you feel may be of interest to officers, please preserve this footage by saving it or downloading it from the device and get in touch by emailing: 66033@gmp.police.uk or Texting 07391 409 252  with your name, telephone number or email address and we will then be able to send you a link to upload the footage to our CCTV Portal.

Officers from the Neighbourhood Priority Crime Team, The Neighbourhood Policing Team and Forensic Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) are working hard to bring the offenders to justice and will be increasing activity in the affected areas.
 

Please remember to ensure that doors and windows remain locked at all times - check, check and check again. 

Remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately to GMP using 999.
