Good Afternoon

We are currently investigating a report of Burglary that occurred on Pole Street, between 2300hrs 19/12/2024 and 0900hrs 20/12/2024.

Offender/s have approached a locked & secure front door to a house and tampered with the door lock cylinder in what is beleivd to be an attempt to gain entry, however no entry was gained.

We would be grateful if residents in the Pole Street area could check any CCTV footage, doorbell cameras, dash cams etc that may have captured footage of anyone behaving suspiciously in the area at this time.

At this time we believe the suspect to be dressed all in dark clothing. 

In the event you find any footage that you feel may be of interest to officers, please preserve this footage by saving it or downloading it from the device and get in touch by emailing: 66033@gmp.police.uk or Texting 07391 409 252  with your name, telephone number or email address and we will then be able to send you a link to upload the footage to our CCTV Portal.

Officers from the Neighbourhood Priority Crime Team, The Neighbourhood Policing Team and Forensic Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) are working hard to bring the offenders to justice and will be increasing activity in the affected areas.

Please remember to ensure that doors and windows remain locked at all times - check, check and check again. 

Remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately to GMP using 999.
