Sorry to interrupt your run-up to Christmas with a not so festive message…

Over the last few weeks we've seen an increase in the theft of galvanised metal farm equipment (gates, hurdles, and the like). We know it's hard to mark or secure these but something to be aware of. 

We've also seen a number of quad thefts in the Lancaster area. Please review your security arrangements (remove keys, block in with other vehicles, remove cobwebs from cameras etc).

We are investigating these so if you have any information or want to report anything suspicious please get in at westrtf@lancashire.police.uk
