This vehicle was of interest to the team and noted to be very busy around Swadlincote/Ticknall/Melbourne area in the early hours. 

PC’s Harvey and Boniface caught up with this young driver when he failed to noticed the marked police vehicle behind, continuing to driving at speed with a brake light out.
Vehicle stopped.

Driver visibly under the influence. Out comes the drug swipe shortly followed by a confirmation of cocaine present in his system.
Driver and vehicle stop searched with numerous bags of Class A drugs, money and phone seized.

One arrested for Possession with intent to supply Class A and drug driving.
Another target actioned during our Christmas drink/drug drive campaign.
