Drink driver charged


Our local Policing unit at Swadlincote attended a report of a road traffic collision causing minor damage on Burton Road, Repton on 20th Dec at approx. 18:45hrs.

The male driver involved was arrested and charged after being breathalysed and blowing 70 (legal limit being 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath)

You can do your part in helping us stop drink or drug driving by calling out loved ones' behaviours, and reporting to us when you think someone is at risk. If you see someone who you believe may be driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs and the crime is happening at the time, please ring us on 999.
