Aldridge & Brownhills Neighbourhood Police Team news

Good Evening all,

PCSO’s have been out and about in the community giving reassurance to victims of crime in Walsall Wood and Streetly following attempted vehicle crime.

PCSO’s attended a site visit with partner agencies at Engine Lane, Brownhills in relation to antisocial behaviour for ongoing issues of off-road bikes where we discussed ways to secure the land.

PCSO’s have been following up enquires for CCTV to ID prolific shoplifters in Walsall Wood, Shelfield, Pelsall, Aldridge and Brownhills.

PCSO’s visited a nursery in Northgate, Aldridge to discuss police in the community and stranger danger.  The kids were shown the uniform and explained the role of a PCSO and PC. The children went outside to see the police cage van and sound the siren which went down a treat for the kids but not the staff!

PCSO’s and PC visited St Bernadette’s Primary School in Brownhills visiting Year 2, talking about keeping our community safe. The children had a set of questions ready for the officers to answer and all enjoyed some time outside seeing the police vehicle and sirens go off.

PCSO’s attended Alrewych Court, assisted living residence in Aldridge to deliver personal safety crime prevention advice and items for the festive season, tips and tools of how to keep themselves safe over the Christmas period.

Please be mindful of your personal safety this Christmas time when out shopping and socialising, be alert and aware of your surroundings and keep yourself and your personal belongings safe. Make sure your home and vehicle is secure and don't leave valuable items on show. More detailed crime prevention advise can be found on the West Midlands Police website.
