Busy week for your local PCSO's

This week, your local PCSOs have been busy:

  • Keeping our neighborhoods safe: We conducted regular patrols in Fenchurch Walk, Prince Charles Avenue, and Radbourne Lane. During these patrols, we:
    • Engaged with residents, addressing any immediate concerns or questions they may have.
    • Monitored for any suspicious activity and took appropriate action when necessary.
    • Worked to deter crime by maintaining a visible police presence in the area.
  • Spreading festive cheer: We joined the West End Brews coffee morning, bringing holiday cheer to residents and fostering positive relationships. We:
    • Engaged in friendly conversations with attendees, building rapport and trust within the community.
    • Provided information about local crime prevention tips and safety advice.
    • Distributed festive treats and shared holiday greetings with everyone.
  • Connecting with the community: We hosted a drop-in session at MECA's community hub in Mackworth, providing an opportunity for residents to connect with us and discuss any concerns they may have. During the session:
    • We actively listened to resident feedback and concerns regarding local issues.
    • Provided information about local policing initiatives and community safety programs.
    • Offered crime prevention advice and resources to help residents protect themselves and their property.
  • Bringing joy to local children: We were thrilled to be a part of MECA's Breakfast with Santa! Over 60 excited children enjoyed festive fun, and they loved seeing our police car and flashing lights. We:
    • Distributed activity booklets and small gifts to the children.
    • Showcased our police car and equipment, answering questions and fostering a positive image of law enforcement.
    • Spread holiday cheer and created lasting memories for the children and their families.
  • We're committed to serving our community and building strong relationships with our residents. Thank you for your continued support!
