The Ribble Valley Neighbourhood Policing Team at Longridge would like to wish residents a safe and joyous Christmas/New Year. We also wanted to acknowledge the public who have worked with us in 2024 to try and make this area safer for all. In the event of an incident happening, without the support of the public, our task can become much more difficult. It's a thank you to those who have provided us with information or given us access to their CCTV systems, as some examples. We have continued to work with the local town council and primary/secondary schools, to tackle any issues as they emerge. Especially with regards to anti-social behaviour. We will continue to hold our monthly drop-ins at The Civic Hall. In other news, PCSO Ashleigh Marshall has recently left our team, in order to take on a new role within the Constabulary. We wish her well, and we are expecting a new PCSO as a replacement in the new year. We will introduce that newest member of the team when they arrive. I am sure they will receive a warm welcome from the community. Also assisting the team this year, have been officers Des Despard and Paul Shoreman. Some of you will have met them already, and who have worked locally for many years. In the meantime, continue to contact us with any concerns or questions. Please remember to always dial 999 in an emergency. PC Paddy Bowdich and PCSO Naz Patel |
