Christmas Uplift - Maidstone Town Centre

Over the past week you should have seen an influx of police officers in the Maidstone Town Centre area. We have been kept busy on the run up to Christmas making 8 arrests this week just in the town centre for a range of offences (drugs/thefts/warrants etc).

We have completed 16 stop searches and seized 3 e-scooters and 1 car this week alone. We have also issued 11 community protection warnings to individuals and businesses to combat anti-social behaviour, begging and parking issues in the town centre. And upgraded one of these to a community protection notice, which allows us to enforce the conditions via arrest, seizure or fines.

I am hoping everyone has a wonderful Christmas and continues to enjoy the town centre!
