Community crime alert:

On Wednesday 25th December there has been a couple of breaks to dwellings in Lyme Regis.

The separate incidents occurred at around 2:00am and 3:50am.

It appears the offender entered through the back door which was left insecure; a purse with cash and a man bag with bank cards were stolen from the kitchen. Unknown offender run off when resident was woken up by a light/torch.

In the second incident, offender entered through the front door which was left insecure. Offender run off when they realised the resident was awake. It appears nothing was stolen at this time.

Please remember to lock your doors and windows, consider fitting security lighting, burglar alarms and smart doorbells.
