Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Around 4.45am on Friday 27 December in Beech Street, Skegby, Sutton in Ashfield, a house was entered through an open living room window while the occupant was asleep. The bedroom was entered and a wallet taken from a trouser pocket and car keys and house keys were taken from the kitchen. The car keys were then used to steal a silver Vauxhall Astra Club Estate. Between 2.00pm and 4.00pm on Friday 27 December in Greenland Road, Skegby, Sutton in Ashfield, a house was entered without permission and a Notebook laptop and an Amazon Fire tablet were stolen. Burglary Other At 7.02pm on Monday 30 December in Beechwood Close, Sutton in Ashfield, a workman reported that a building had been forcibly entered, the alarm system ripped out, the walls vandalised and the doors left wide open. Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft At 2.47pm on Thursday 26 December in Greenland Road, Skegby, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of an unlocked house being entered. This may have occurred around 9.30am on Wednesday 25 December, possibly by someone claiming to be a carer. A mobile phone and a wallet was stolen. Criminal Damage Nothing to report ASB At 12.55pm on Thursday 26 December in Alfreton Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report that yesterday and again today some young people, around 8 years old, were climbing into a back garden and taking bricks which they were then throwing into other gardens nearby. At 8.15pm on Friday 27 December in Gilcroft Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of youngsters on mini mopeds riding up and down the street doing wheelies. They also rode over the callers grass and kicked over his wheelie bin. At 6.00pm on Sunday 29 December in Priestsic Road, Sutton in Ashfield, young teenagers were inside the McDonald’s restaurant throwing chairs around and being a general nuisance. At 11.31am on Tuesday 31 December in Bowne Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of approximately nine people, male and female, setting up camp in a garage and spreading rubbish everywhere.
