Our area has experienced some snowfall and with the forecast showing the possibility of more, we would like to urge you to stay safe and exercise caution, but we also encourage you to take some time to enjoy the snow and make the most of this winter weather.

Below are some snowy tips from your Local Policing Team:

Build a snowman  - We love to see your creative snow sculptures whilst we are out on high-visibility patrols

Go sledging - Stick to safe, open areas, please ensure you always supervise young ones.

Warm up after - Nothing beats a hot chocolate after playing in the snow

Drive safely -  A little more serious note here. Avoid unnecessary travel. If you must drive, go slow, increase your following distance, ensure your vehicle is equipped for weather conditions.
