St Martins (Tulse Hill) Community Safety Meetings with Police

To Neighbourhood Watch Members in St Martins (Tulse Hill) Ward

From Philip Virgo as Development Lead, Lambeth Neighbourhood Watch

I convene the Norwood Community Safety Partnership and recently became Development Lead for the relaunch of Lambeth Neighbourhood Watch.

Under the agreement between the Metropolitan Police and Neighbourhood Watch the police Safer Neighbourhood Teams are expected to encourage local neighbourhood watch groups and neighbourhood watch groups are expected to send at least one representative to each Safer Neighbourhood Panel meeting.

The next meeting of the St Martins (Tulse Hill) Safer Neighbourhood Panel is on on 9th January, 18.30 in the High Trees Hub/Scout Hut, SW2 3PX

This is your opportunity to meet the St Martins Safer Neighbourhood Police Team, PS Saul Bird, PC Will Luck, PCSO Jack Jones-Pace  and discuss concerns and priorities.

During the meeting I expect to give a brief update on progress with the relaunch of Neighbourhood Watch and will be available to answer questions.

In the mean time the attached draft of the next issue of the Norwood Community Safety Partnership Newsletter gives the background.

The other scheduled “meet the police” opportunities over three months are:

10th January 10.00 -1100 Co-op 178 Norwood Road

27th January 10.00 -11.00 The Scouts Hut, High Trees

7th February 15.00 – 16.00 Tulse Hill Train Station

25th February 13.00 -1400 Co-op 178 Norwood Road
