Cross Hills Safer Neighbourhood Team would like to thank the members of the  COWLING community that assisted this afternoon with gritting, and helping stranded motorists through COWLING . What a fantastic community spirit ! 

A number of motorists fell foul of allowing themselves to follow sat nav's and ventured off the main roads. A big thankyou to the farming family that turned out to help those stranded at TOM LANE.
