We have continued to receive reports of door-to-door sellers claiming to be on Ex-Offender schemes and trying to sell household cleaning products. Often encounters have resulted in offensive and heated responses from sellers if goods are not wanted. There are no such authorised schemes and such groups often are part of pyramid selling schemes or may be surveying localities for elderly or vulnerable who may receive visits later for roofing or drive cleaning type work often at inflated prices. If you receive such visits, please report on 101 so officers can attend to check permits and identify sellers. Thank you.
