We tend to see an increase in theft of motor vehicles during spells of bad weather due to people leaving their vehicles unattended while they defrost their windscreens and warm the interiors. May we remind you to remain with your vehicle at all times when it is defrosting or running and to keep your keys on you. Between the hours of 6am and 10am (approx) when the majority of people leave for work thieves are looking for easy opportunities and have been targeting vehicles that are left unattended.
Also be reminded that it is illegal to drive without full vision to please remember to clear any snow from your car and front grille with a soft brush and wait for glass to clear completely before driving. Add more time to your journey to allow for this if necessary. Be aware, be vigilant. and most importantly be safe.
