There were two reports of stolen vehicle number plates in Denbighshire this week and multiple report from other force areas.

It is worth checking periodically that your plates are still fixed to your car as realistically who would notice if they were gone??

Organised Crime Gangs can target specific makes of vehicle, there is no particular make we can suggest they will target but there is usually a pattern that police detect over time.

Please be sure to report to police if your plates are stolen as we take this seriously and share information to other forces which helps to catch the offenders across the border.
