Meeting and Stop/Search

Hello all

Just a quick update on what I've been up to today.

Started the shift with clearing some admin, answering emails from a couple of yourselves and internal emails, researched the overnight calls for the Marsh so that I'm aware of what's been going on (nothing major fortunately).

I then went out and about on mobile patrol gathering intelligence as I drove about.

This evening (09/01) I attended the St Mary in the Marsh and St Mary's Bay Parish Councillors meeting and spoke with them regarding issues that had been raised to them, this was a very productive meeting for them and me.

Then during another round of mobile patrol late evening, I came across an adult in Lydd which led to a search under Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act whereby a very small amount of Cannabis was found and was dealt with.

Just a reminder that the ‘LOCAL ENGAGEMENT MEETING’ is being held at Lydd Town Hall (Guild Hall) on Tuesday 14th January between 18:30-20:30. This is an opportunity for everyone across the Folkestone and Hythe District to attend and raise any concerns that you may have about crime and anti-social behaviour in your area. This quarterly meeting is in addition to the monthly surgeries that are held by us Beat Officers across the district.

Anyway, that's about it for today.

Thank you.

Steve.
