Closure Order

Trafford Council’s Community Safety Team, working closely with Greater Manchester Police and Mosscare St Vincents Housing Group have obtained a closure order at the Magistrates Court in relation to a flat and the communal areas of a flat in Upper Chorlton Road, Old Trafford.

The order prevents non residents from accessing the communal areas of the building, and excludes everyone but the tenant from the flat in question.  This was following a series of complaints about anti-social and disorderly behaviour in and around the block. We will always work with partners, including the Council and landlords to protect people form the impact of this behaviour and we share information and intelligence to deal with problems that cause distress to people in our neighbourhoods.
