It might not have been the result that Tamworth football fans were hoping for on Sunday, but a safe game for all was certainly the result our officers were hoping for. 

PC Rich Lymer, the dedicated football officer for Tamworth Football Club, was on hand along with a number of other officers to make sure the day was enjoyed safely and responsibly.

We’re really pleased to say that the day passed off without any issues and we were able to engage positively with so many local people who were enjoying the historic occasion in the community.
It was great to see so many of you there.
