The County Durham and Darlington Local Resilience Forum is a partnership of all organisations needed to prepare for, and respond to, any major emergency in our area.

These include things like flooding, severe weather or loss of power.

The group have put together guidance on what to do in different scenarios, called the Community Risk Register.

Residents are being invited to take a few minutes to read the guidance, which contains useful tips and information on how to best prepare for an emergency and who to contact if you need help.
