On Monday 13th January 2024 officers from Rossendale  police discovered and dismantled an illegal cannabis cultivation in a property on Union Street, Bacup. Over 900 plants were seized.

This operation was part of ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug activity and ensure public safety.
