Flintshire North Review

Good Afternoon Flintshire North ☀️

R2 and NPT are with you today. I'm on an afternoon shift so it's a 28 hour review today. 44 calls for service in the last 28h, 6 of which were P0 🚨 (Attended on Lights & Sirens)

🏡 1 x Domestic Incident  & 1 x Domestic DVDS which is a Claire's Law request you can read more on that here  - https://www.police.uk/rqo/request/ri/request-information/cl/triage/v2/request-information-under-clares-law/

🚑 4 x Concern for Safety Incidents
✖️ 7 x Anti Social Behaviour Incidents

👮🏾‍♀️ There's been one arrest in last 28, which I've just heard over the radio so they've not made it to custody yet. 37 incidents came over to our system for a write up and 12 have been recorded as crimes.

✅ Before Christmas I mentioned markers that we can put on people, cars and addresses. These help to inform officers dealing with people and they can be a very important safeguarding tool.

✖️ A person can be tagged as Serious Domestic Violence perpetrator, that means if we get any inclination that person is in a new relationship we can offer a DVDS ( Claire's Law)
✖️ Markers can be placed on people for weapons, which lets us know they've had one before or we have intelligence to suggest they may carry a weapon.
✖️ Drugs is a marker we often come across, that can be as simple as they've previously been found in possession all the way up to being involved in supply.
📞 Markers can be placed on addresses, so that if we receive a call from there it'll inform the officers - such as a person at risk of domestic violence who might make a silent call.
🐶 We even sometimes place information to say that an address has large dogs running loose, which just helps to keep us safe.

🌨️ With all the doom and gloom that an sometimes come with being in the emergency services as we do often deal with people who are having the worst day of their lives or people who are set on causing harm to the community and emergency services - I believe it's best to celebrate all the little things. With that in mind, it was my dog's birthday yesterday, so she got herself a big slab of steak and we had some festivities for her 😂 She's pictured below.

So I encourage you today to find the joy in the little things - I'll be finding joy in arresting some serial offenders AGAIN, once I've got some paperwork done this morning! Have a wonderful day, Stay Safe - 3604.
